Really loved the chance to have this conversation with my mate Tom Tilley: we went DEEP on my politics, comedy and anger.

Tom Ballard is possibly the most political comedian in Australia, with his stand up tackling issues including asylum seekers, racism, the monarchy and capitalism.

His new show, Good Point Well Made, is no different. He reflects on Australia’s failed voice referendum and Donald Trump- alongside a healthy dose of toilet humour.

In this chat with Tom Tilley, Ballard opens up about the process of writing the show, why he loves performing, and the rise of fellow comedian and friend Hannah Gadsby.

Oh my goodness my new stand-up special is dropping on YouTube on Tuesday 26/3/2024, courtesy of the good people at 800 Pound Gorilla Media.

It was recorded at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel by the brilliant Stupid Old Studios crew.

I’m very proud of it because there’s heaps of funny bits in there and some yelling and I broke multiple pieces of equipment in the process of making it. I hope you like it, too.
