I’m headlining at Sydney’s A Mic In Hand this Thursday February 2nd.
It’s one of my favourite rooms in the whole entire world and I’m especially excited to be trying out a whole bunch of new crapola from this year’s show.
The show kicks off at 8pm at the Friend In Hand Pub (58 Cowper St Glebe).
Tickets are $10, $8 for students
I’m going to be speaking at the 2012 Global Atheist Convention Gala Dinner on Saturday 14th April in Melbourne.
I’m genuinely excited and honoured to be asked to speak; the line-up of smarty pants people on the bill is incredible.
You can find out more about the convention here and you can purchase tickets here if you like.
I love doing comedy in Hobart! Lucky for me I get to on Friday January 20th at The Waratah Hotel for a thing called Clubhouse Comedy.
(Hobart. At night. Like it’ll be when I’m there.)
The very funny Matt Burton, Mick Davies and Emesha Rudolph will also be there. Tickets are only $15.
Would love to see you there as long as you’re not a psychopath or annoying.
Myself, Sam Simmons, Wil Anderson, Nick Cody, Michael Hing, Rhys Nicholson and a shitload of other folks are doing comedy at Homebake this year. I’m really excited because I love doing festivals and this is a great line-up and hopefully I’ll be able to hang with Nick Cave and shit.
If you’re heading along, please do come say hi. There are still tickets available here.
If you would like to see something similar to the above image with added movement and sounds, please come along to the 2011 Quest For The Best Grand Final on Friday December 2nd at the Marrickville Town Hall.
QFTB is a great open mic comp and you get nothing but the best of the best at the final. I’m MCing and I’m pretty jolly sure that it’ll be a hoot.
You can grab tickets via moshtix here.
I’m MCing a fundraiser for the brilliant organisation ACON on Wednesday 9th November from 7:30pm at the Ritz Cinema in Randwick.
It’s going to be crazy fun! There’s going to be a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, plus my lovely friend Brendan Maclean is going to sing a few of his nice songs like this:

Tom’s life has gone for just over 21 years. In that time he’s been skinny dipping, had his heart broken and experienced dermatological issues.
consistently, acutely hilarious. At 21, Ballard’s comedy brain and hair trigger wit is impressively precise
Herald Sun 2011
[an] excellent, unflinching and at times brutally funny show from this 21-year-old comic wunderkind
The Age 2011
it’s tightly paced, it’s perfectly delivered and it’s funny as hell
Time Out
the confidence, timing, presence and instincts of a comedian twice his age
