The endlessly talented Max Lavergne and Craig Schuftan have made a 6-part radio serial for triple j about the search for the on true 90s Kid.

In Episode 5 I got to play the role of R.L. Stine, author of the Goosebumps books, which always began with either someone moving house or going off to camp.

Lots of people out there have lengthy, insightful comedy podcasts.

I’m  too lazy for that, so I’m interviewing comedians on Vine.

Here’s Episode 1, featuring Wil Anderson.    

Just a quick post to highlight the extensive and brilliant work of really-good-comedian and my dear friend, Justin Hamilton.

Hammo’s body of work is constantly inspiring to me: this is a man who wrote an interconnected trilogy of one-hour stand-up shows in a single Comedy Festival, then another year wrote a stand up show involving a phone app.

His work is highly considered and he always makes a conscious effort to do interesting things, differently.

Mega-comedy nerds (such as myself) will appreciate his blog, upon which he is writing about EVERY SINGLE GIG HE’S DOING THIS YEAR. If you want to get inside the mind of someone who constantly pushes themselves with their stand up, here is the doorway.

Ham-dawg also has a tops podcast called Can You Take This Photo Please? which I would highly recommend. He does great long-form chat with comedians and other people he likes, plus awesome one-offs like a Breaking Bad special or a blow-by-blow account of his shows.
