Week one down and we’re still not cancelled! What a success. Thanks to everyone who tuned in at last night and said nice things, I feel all nice and gooey.
Producers Marion Farrelly, Andrew Shaw and Julie Bloody Goodwin joined me for our first show to talk about crying children, spitting women, awkward virgins and shitloads of glitter.
You can watch it on ABC iView here if you like. And while you there, why not check out the awesome new shows Utopia and Please Like Me? Go ooooooon.
If you’re around Sydney and would like to come along to a taping of our show, register for free tickets here.

Ahead of Reality Check going to air, you can check out my 10 best/worst reality moments over on junkee.
And while you’re at it, I highly recommend reading Penn Jillette’s summary of his Celebrity Apprentice experience. It is funny.

You can read it on The New Daily here if you like.
Or you could just watch this, which should answer any doubts you might have.
If you’re keen to get a better idea of what to expect from my new show Reality Check (WHICH YOU’RE TOTALLY GOING TO WATCH THIS WEDNESDAY AT 9PM ON THE ABC), you might enjoy reading this chat I had with news.com.au or this chat I had with the lovely Hannah at Concrete Playground.
Also look at this bit of “research” I’ve been doing:
I (will eventually) have a new show to perform for you guys! This run is just going to be in Sydney for Sydney Fringe, but I certainly hope to bring it elsewhere too.
(Big thanks to total bore for the artwork and my bro gavin ballard for the design)
The show is an all-new hour of jokes and storytelling, pretty much covering the three items in the title. Also loneliness.
You can book tickets to it here.
Cheers!
